General Manager, David Salerno, brings over 30 years experience in the golf and hospitality business to Pointe West. For the past 11 years, he was with WCI Communities at two of their premier properties, Parkland Golf & Country Club and The Colony Golf & Bay Club. Prior to WCI, he was the Director of Golf at BallenIsles in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Woods Country Club in Boca Raton. Head PGA Golf Professional, James Muir.  James is a graduate of the Penn State University Professional Golf Management (PGM) program. He has been employed at some of the most prestigious facilities in the country including: Saucon Valley Country Club, Kingsmill Resort on the James and The Breakers Palm Beach. Most recently he was employed at The Polo Club of Boca Raton. James is also a Level III Certified Titleist Performance Institute instructor and an ACE certified personal trainer. PGA Golf Professional, Patrick Cerjan.  Mr. Cerjan’s love affair with golf began in his early teens. From his teens through college and his professional career he has had the good fortune of being surrounded and mentored on the game and the business from great golf professionals, PGA tour players, and instructors. In 1986 entered the PGA of America as an apprentice and worked diligently on his tournament game and teaching profession. Mr. Cerjan took his game on the road and in 1988 he traveled to Sweden and competed on the Swedish PGA Tour. He tried his hand at open qualifying for Ben Hogan and PGA tour events around the United States; all the while helping other professionals and amateurs with their swings. Class A Golf Course Superintendent, Christian Millican, is a graduate of Lake City’s highly acclaimed Turf Management program and an expert in the maintenance of tif-eagle greens. He has extensive private golf course experience and directs his passion for golf toward providing consistently outstanding course conditions. Executive Chef, John Corso, leads the cullinary team at Pointe West.  John originally from Brooklyn, New York has a wide array of experience that ranges from fine country club dining to some of the finest resturants on the East Coast.  Most recently John served as the corporate chef for the Maxwell Group which owns and operates senior life communities throughout the Southeastern United States.  John believes the best food is created with the best ingredients.  Only the freshests ingredients make it into John's dishes.  One taste and you will think Grandma made it!!  Come enjoy Mangia.
Director of Events, Russell Van Wyk, is originally from Cape Town, South Africa.  In 2010 Russell came to the United States looking to further his experience in the hospitality industry.  Russell started working at the Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, eventually moving to Vero Beach the following year.  Russell spent three seasons working at the prestigious Windsor Country Club learning fine dining, haute cuisine and in the process became an avid wine enthusiast.  In 2012, during the off season from Windsor, Russell relocated to Philadelphia where he worked at one of the oldest clubs in the country, Philadelphia Country Club. In 2013, Russell headed back to Florida and started with the Pointe West Country Club.  In addition to being the Club’s Food and Beverage Manager, Russell was recently promoted to Events Manager.  Russell is a “Foodie” at heart and is always expanding his palate and food knowledge.
